HOT JOB: DUAL CT & X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST – 40HR ROTATING SHIFTS (KAPAA, KAUAI, HI)

I am fast-tracking applications for two highly autonomous, dual-modality CT & X-Ray Technologists to join a critical access hospital on the breathtaking Coconut Coast of Kauai. This 13-week island contract features full-time hours, an immediate profile review pipeline, and an island-pace clinical setting.

POSITION QUICK-FACTS

• Start Date: ASAP / Immediate (13 Weeks)
• Positions Available: 2 Open Openings
• Shift Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly | High flexibility is required for rotating day and night shifts.

• On-Call & Weekend Mandate: Active weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage are integrated into the unit schedule.

  ⚠️ GEOGRAPHIC CALL REQUIREMENT: Due to acute trauma response timelines, you must reside within 20 minutes of the hospital footprint when operating on-call. Please ensure your local housing arrangements accommodate this 20-minute radius restriction.

• Systems & Charting: Cerner EMR.
• Holiday Policy: Pay incentives are based strictly on hours worked on the actual day of: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

THE CLINICAL MATRIX

• The Environment: A historic, community-centric Critical Access Hospital (50–149 beds) serving the Kauai region.
• Scope of Practice: Work completely independently to perform high-quality diagnostic X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT) procedures.
• Clinical Demands: Manage emergency room trauma, inpatient diagnostics, and outpatient imaging requests. You must be comfortable working as the sole technologist on-shift during deep night or on-call call-backs, maintaining rigorous technical standards without immediate on-site peer support.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)

• Experience Baseline: Minimum 3 years of recent, dedicated acute care experience as a dual-modality technologist. Must be highly competent operating independently.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist License must be fully in-hand and active at the time of submission [HARDSTOP].
• Registries & Credentials:
  • Active ARRT Radiography registration ( ARRT (R)) with official primary source verification.
  • Active ARRT Computed Tomography registration ( ARRT (CT)) with official primary source verification.
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
