This role will also be responsible to make deliveries to members who have not received their medications timely. Duties & Responsibilities Work with pharmacy staff to ensure that deliveries leave the pharmacy at the appropriate time and delivered to the designated location requested. Transport and deliver medication to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss. Maintain delivery log of activities per policy and procedure, which may include checking and/or logging recipient identification. Report status and any problems to pharmacy management. Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision. Physical Demands Work day is normally involving at least 40% of lifting, twisting, standing, bending and some activities that involve walking will be required to be performed. The associate will be required to travel from multiple health clinic sites and must be required to work flexible hours to accommodate needs of various sites and community events. Supervision of multiple clinic sites may be applicable. A Louisiana driver's license is required. Work Environment The work environment is normally performed in a health clinic with a normal/comfortable temperature setting. The associate will be provided DSCNO equipment (computer, laptop, cell phone, etc.) to perform necessary duties for the position. The majority of the work setting is sedentary. Minimum Qualifications Satisfactory motor vehicle record. Must have reliable, legal (registered and insured as required by your state law) transportation. Maintain valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance. Basic computer skills including competency with Microsoft Outlook, Google Suite, or similar scheduling tools. High school diploma or equivalent. Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours. Strong customer service and communication skills.
