Job Title: Accounting Analyst Employment Type: Contract Location: Remote Pay: $30.00 - 31.00/hourly rate, depending on experience and skill set Position Overview: We are currently working with a company looking for an experienced Accounting Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong analytical skills, NetSuite experience, and full-cycle accounting expertise. This position is remote, with a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Analyze budget-to-actual results and identify key financial variances
• Prepare financial reports and assist with forecasting and budgeting activities
• Manage invoicing and client billing processes
• Ensure contractual billing requirements and deadlines are met
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Support audit requests and compliance efforts
• Communicate financial findings and recommendations to management

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, specifically with general ledger, reconciliations, month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, creating invoices, and managing billing
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent accounting work experience will also suffice and be considered.
• Working experience with NetSuite
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• SQL Server experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to explain financial results and key business drivers.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with a strong understanding of the importance of clear and consistent communication
