Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A Truck Driver in Burlington, NJ — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Pay and Schedule: Weekly pay: $1540 or more Hourly Pay: $27.00 per hour Hours per week: 50–60 hours Paid training Schedule and start time vary Route and Equipment: Deliver solo (route varies) Regional route Tractor type: Sleepers and Day Cab Trailer type: Dry Van 53' Truck and equipment training provided by Ryder Freight: touch‑screen doors and hardware Multiple accounts coverage Truck Details: Trucks 36 months or newer 24/7 roadside maintenance Fuel at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide Benefits: Medical, dental & vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO first year, started Day 1 (use it or get paid) Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided Drivers make safety decisions, job is protected 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligibility criteria apply) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder drug test Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years) Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road testProvide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Contact Questions?
