Machine Operator (Order Picker / Reach Truck)

Location: Auburn Warehouse Schedule: MondayThursday, 6:00 PM 4:30 AM (4x10) Pay Rate: $26

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Machine Operators with order picker and reach truck experience to join our Auburn warehouse team. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) while supporting daily warehouse operations.

Special consideration will be given to candidates with inventory or inbound experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other attachments
• Unload incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and stage product for put-away
• Pick and pull customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Load semi-trucks and box trucks according to delivery requirements
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory and product locations
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory processes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members across shifts and interact with drivers and receiving teams
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience (or equivalent)
• Experience operating order pickers and reach trucks required
• Inventory or inbound experience preferred
• Ability to lift 3548 lbs consistently and occasionally move up to 100 lbs
• Upon full-time conversion, ability to obtain power equipment certification

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Clean, comfortable clothing suitable for warehouse work and changing weather
• No loose clothing, jewelry, or unsecured hair
• Closed-toe, sturdy, warehouse-appropriate shoes required
• Reflective safety vest strongly recommended

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable transportation (required for equipment operators)
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening:
• 7-year national & county background check (no DUIs for driving roles)
• Drug screening (5-panel; 10-panel for driving roles)
• Must meet contract-to-hire conversion standards
