Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Wound Care RN (BSN) to provide specialized wound management and patient care within a Magnet, teaching hospital setting. The RN will deliver high-quality care, adhere to facility protocols, and support patient recovery through targeted wound treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized wound care treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Administer wound dressings, therapies, and monitor healing progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policies.
• Participate in on-call duties and respond promptly to emergent wound care needs as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina RN license or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent wound care nursing experience.
• Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) required; pediatrics experience highly preferred.
• BLS certification is mandatory; continence certification not required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting system.
• Able to work a 5x8 day shift, with flexibility for occasional on-call responsibilities.
