Location: Charlotte, NC Salary Range: To be discussed Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support enterprise-scale database environments across multiple data centers. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL administration, database performance tuning, replication technologies, and infrastructure migration activities. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, stability, security, and operational excellence across mission-critical platforms. Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong fundamentals and hands-on administration experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or higher) and PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience moving databases between multiple enterprise data centers and supporting large-scale migration projects.
- Strong understanding of backup/recovery strategies, RMAN, replication, clustering, and HA/DR solutions.
- Experience with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and failover testing.
- Familiarity with shell scripting, Python, or Ansible for automating routine DBA activities.
- Experience in partnering with infrastructure, engineering, application support, and cybersecurity teams.
- Strong experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication and multi-master environments.
- Knowledge of database monitoring tools and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts including storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Administer, maintain, and support Oracle and PostgreSQL database environments in production, QA, and development ecosystems.
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, and capacity planning activities.
- Monitor and optimize database performance through proactive tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Lead and support database migration initiatives across 2-3 enterprise data centers with minimal downtime.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate replication environments for high availability and data synchronization.
- Implement database security standards, access controls, and operational best practices.
- Support disaster recovery planning, failover testing, and business continuity initiatives.
- Participate in on-call production support and incident resolution for critical database environments.
