Senior ISSOs serve as cybersecurity subject matter experts supporting assigned systems while working closely with Lead ISSO, ISSM, System Owners, and other cybersecurity stakeholders.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport RMF activities throughout the authorization lifecycleMaintain SSPs, POA&Ms, control implementation statements, and support cybersecurity documentationPerform continuous monitoring activities and security posture reviewsSupport vulnerability management analysis, tracking, and remediation coordinationPrepare and update authorization package artifactsConduct security impact analyses for changes affecting supported systemsSupport audit readiness reviews and assessment preparation activitiesCoordinate evidence collection and artifact managementMaintain cybersecurity records, repositories, and documentationParticipate in governance forums and security working groupsTrack corrective actions and POA&M status through closureProvide system-level cybersecurity guidance and recommendationsRequired QualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 High-Risk Public TrustBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field5+ years of cybersecurity experience3+ years supporting Federal cybersecurity or RMF activitiesExperience supporting SSP development and authorization package maintenanceExperience with continuous monitoring and vulnerability managementExperience supporting audits, assessments, and compliance activitiesFamiliarity with Federal cybersecurity requirements and NIST guidanceDesired QualificationsOne or more of the following:Security+CGRCCISSPCAPCISMGSECDesired technical experience:CSAMServiceNowSplunkTenableQualysMicrosoft AzureMicrosoft 365Entra IDGovernance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platformsExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
