About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to build strong relationships and support each child’s learning journey.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to assistant teachers and support staff.
• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and implement them in the classroom.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

• AS degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or CDA.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead teaching role within an early childhood setting.
• Valid state teaching license or certification in early childhood education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
• Passion for nurturing and guiding young learners in a supportive environment.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive classroom culture.
• Knowledge of child development principles and early learning standards.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
