Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts. This role involves supporting clinical interventions within a skilled nursing facility environment. The position requires providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Job Details:

• Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid active State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license, 1+ years of PTA experience (required), Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience (required), new graduates considered with Level II clinical experience, must be able to submit at the posted rate
• Preferred Qualifications: Skills checklist within 1 year, 0-1 references at the time of submission
• Additional Information: Duties include utilizing evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions, administering procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices. Responsible for assessing patient progress, communicating with supervising Physical Therapist, documenting all clinical information in electronic records, providing consultation to patients and families, participating in team meetings, and supporting student supervision under guidance. Adherence to professional practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics is required. Active licensed PTA status in the state is mandatory.
