First Neighbor Bank is an employee-owned, community-oriented company that offers a fun, family-focused atmosphere, great company culture and an excellent benefits package!Position SummaryResponsible for the overall Arthur Accounting office activities for accounting and tax preparation services.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervises and coordinates overall activities for the accounting office.Provides client business and accounting services; accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, monthly financial analysis and reporting, fixed asset management.Provides income tax preparation for individuals, businesses, and owners.Trains and assists office staff as needed.Maintains professional and community relations to increase First Neighbor's visibility and new business opportunities.Complies with all bank policies and procedures and federal and state laws and regulations.EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent work experienceCertifications: CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred3+ years combined accounting and supervisory experienceStrong foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProficient in standard accounting and ERP software; QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft DynamicsProficient in Microsoft suite, including highly proficient in ExcelAbility to supervise accounting staff, manage personnel, and delegate daily tasksHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential financial data with strict discretion.Customer service with oral and written communication skillsAbility to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch
