TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Job Title: PACU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU Duration: 18 Weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 10:00 - 22:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, must have level 1 trauma and telemetry experience. License: Current nursing license. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS. Must-Have: Level 1 trauma and telemetry experience required. Description: MUST WORK 2 OUT OF 3 OF THE HOLIDAY BUNDLES: Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. No RQI certifications. Pre/Post Cath lab procedures required. Pre/Post IR procedures required. COVID vaccine is optional. Position will require clinical responsibilities in a high-acuity environment. PACU nurses may float to the holding area in the PACU department. The nurse to patient ratio can be 1:2 in the PACU and 1:3-5 in the holding area. These patients are equivalent to an inpatient floor PCU assignment. Weekend requirement: One shift per month. On-call requirement: 1-2 call overnight shifts monthly. The facility can call off staff 3 times throughout a 13-week assignment. Patient age groups include neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census exceeds 35 cases. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Preferred experience includes management of ventilated patients and recognition/management of dysrhythmias. Previous charge experience is preferred, though first-timers will be considered upon screening. This position requires a commitment to teamwork and collaboration with a diverse team.
