Desktop Support Associate

Job Description

The Desktop Support Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of IT systems by providing technical assistance and resolving hardware and software issues. This position involves both remote and on-site support, ensuring end users experience efficient and reliable IT services. Occasional travel to branch locations is required to address hardware maintenance and system updates.

Responsibilities

Perform technical troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues
Maintain and repair computer hardware components
Install and configure software applications
Provide user support and training as needed
Execute regular system updates to ensure security and performance
Manage and prioritize support tickets effectively

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years experience in IT support roles
Proficient with Windows operating systems
Experience managing Active Directory
Skilled in remote desktop support tools
