Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Non-CDL Delivery Driver in West Palm Beach, FL!

Position Details

• Location: West Palm Beach, FL
• Pay: $23/hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
• Overtime: Some days may run later depending on delivery needs
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Your Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24-ft flatbed truck while completing scheduled deliveries.
• Transport electrical equipment from the warehouse to designated customer locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and safely unload materials at delivery destinations.
• Use the liftgate and appropriate material-handling equipment when unloading.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes while maintaining reliable arrival times.
• Assist with planning efficient delivery routes when needed.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery updates, delays, or issues.
• Obtain customer signatures, scans, or other required delivery confirmations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any concerns.
• Monitor road and weather conditions before and during travel.
• Maintain accurate driving, delivery, and work-hour records.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and in good operating condition.
• Notify management of maintenance needs, damaged materials, or delivery issues.
• Follow all company procedures, DOT requirements, and applicable traffic laws.
• Adjust driving practices appropriately for traffic, weather, and road conditions.
• Make safety the top priority while driving, loading, unloading, and handling equipment.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of professional delivery or commercial driving experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Valid Non-CDL driver's license with a strong driving history.
• Clean driving record with no significant moving violations.
• Comfortable safely maneuvering, parking, and operating a larger delivery vehicle.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized throughout the day.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Dependable and able to follow established routes and schedules.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with dispatch and management.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to safely lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading materials throughout the workday.
• Must be safety-minded and able to remain alert and focused while driving.
