Job Summary:

Provides specialized imaging support and invasive procedures in the Cardiology department, primarily focusing on cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology. Ensures high-quality patient care through technical expertise and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate imaging equipment and assist during invasive cardiac and radiology procedures.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, findings, and patient records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical teams to ensure smooth workflow during interventions.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety standards, including radiation safety and infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status and provide support throughout the procedure.
  
  
• 
  Stay current with certifications and continuing education requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a New York State License as an X-ray Technologist and certification to inject as per section 89.40.
  
  
• 
  Possess a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or ARRT Registered credential.
  
  
• 
  Have at least two years experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist, including a minimum of one year in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization suite.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate cardiovascular credentialing through CCI, ARRT, or RCIS.
