Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum one year of recent clinical experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills
• Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments

Primary Duties:

• Monitor and provide care for patients requiring close observation and advanced interventions transitioning from intensive care
• Administer medications, manage drips, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members to deliver patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-hospital needs
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records

Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment with typical rotating shifts; exact hours provided upon interview
