Embedded Firmware Engineer

Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer – (DPS/Microcontrollers) Schedule: Full-time | Location: Raleigh, NC | Pay: $70/hour | Duration: 12-month+ contract | Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite Summary: Client is seeking an Embedded Software / Firmware Engineer with a strong focus on DPS or microcontrollers for its Power Electronics and Battery Management System (BMS) products. This individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and validation of embedded software / firmware for power conversion and battery management systems. The role will involve DPS or microcontrollers programming, testing, troubleshooting, and driving the adoption of model-based techniques throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. Show more Job Responsibilities Key Functions: DPS or microcontrollers Programming: Develop and implement firmware for power electronics and battery management system products Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform testing and debugging of firmware, utilizing various debugging tools, simulators, and hardware-in-the-loop setups. Model-Based Design: Utilization and adoption of model-based design methodologies, including simulation, modeling, and automatic code generation to enhance the NPI process. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, system engineers, and other cross-functional teams to design and deliver integrated solutions for power electronics and BMS applications. Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, test plans, and DVT reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr American Contract Group
