Machinist

LOCATION:

North Arlington, NJ/Linden, NJ/East Windsor, NJ

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a 50 year old well established manufacturer of high precision machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for machining a variety of super-precision metal parts using a variety of machines, precision tools and gauges to exacting specifications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate assigned machine(s) to ensure precise conformance of part as specified by engineering print
• Maintain tools as required
• Maintain inspection logs, calibration logs and records
• Maintain professional working relationships
• Manage work load to meet production requirements
• Other duties as assigned by Foreman

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Working knowledge & understanding of materials and metallurgy
• Machine shop experience working with mills and lathes
• Ability and experience reading detailed prints
• Ability to use high-precision inspection and measurement instruments

EDUCATION

• High-School Diploma or equivalen
