Job Title
Experience: 10+ Years. Skills – COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2/IMS
Key Responsibilities
- Must drive development and maintenance using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2/IMS
- Must work with DB2 / IMS databases for data access and performance tuning
- Must have experience developing ZOS API, batches.
- Familiarity with Mainframe Utilities
- Analyze legacy code and implement enhancements or fixes
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams
- Ability to interpret functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Exposure to modernization projects (e.g., re-engineering or re-platforming mainframe workloads).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps for mainframe (e.g, Git, Jenkins for z/OS).
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS (if the role involves modernization).
