Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Four positions are currently available: three for grade level and resource room support, and one dedicated to a specialized mental health/behavior self-contained program. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required
• Certification and experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Background in resource room instruction and/or program-specific behavioral settings beneficial
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong collaboration skills for working with general education teachers, therapists, families, and support staff
• Effective communication and classroom management abilities
• Adaptable and compassionate approach to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in designated grade level/resource rooms or a mental health/behavior self-contained program
• Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse educational needs of students with various learning abilities
• Develop, monitor, and report on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment that promotes student growth and independence
• Collaborate with team members to plan, assess, and adapt instructional strategies
• Communicate regularly with families and staff on progress, challenges, and successes
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education requirements

This contract position offers a regular schedule of 32.5–35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligned with school hours (7:30 AM – 2:20 PM), throughout the academic year (September 1, 2026 – June 16, 2027).
