Registered Nurse - Trauma/Ortho/Neuro - Part Time - Day Shift

Role Summary The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering professional, technical, and patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process Supervise and collaborate with team members and multidisciplinary staff Ensure accurate documentation and safe medication administration Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment Build relationships, communicate effectively, and support patient education Adhere to hospital policies, standards, and safety protocols Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Current nursing license in Texas Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Knowledge of hospital policies, patient safety, and confidentiality Physical & Environmental Demands Ability to stand, move, lift, and handle equipment for extended periods Exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials Work primarily indoors in a healthcare setting #J-18808-Ljbffr Rock Health
