Responsibilities Provide direct support for adults with behavioral needs — personal hygiene care, ADL assistance, meal prep, mobility, and daily living skills. Maintain a calm, steady demeanor throughout every interaction, including during challenging moments. Engage actively and meaningfully with the individuals you support — connection is a core part of this role, not an afterthought. Monitor health and behavior, document observations accurately, and communicate updates to program staff at shift end. Foster a respectful, inclusive, person-centered environment that upholds dignity and individual preferences at all times. Attend 3 days of required training in North Haven, CT prior to beginning work.
