As Global Supply Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end sourcing strategy for critical vehicle spend. You’ll partner with engineering from concept through launch, using first-principles decision-making to deliver breakthrough outcomes. You will lead global supplier negotiations and structure commercial agreements that protect program timing without sacrificing cost leverage. Structure commercial agreements that protect program timing without ceding cost leverage.Build first-principles should-cost models with cross-functional teams to drive a ground-up, physics-based part and system cost perspective. Use these models to set negotiation positions, evaluate quote submissions, and challenge supplier pricing line by line.Lead make-vs-buy analysis to ensure we have a best-in-class supply chain that delivers optimal value.Develop the supply base for resilience. Identify and qualify Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners across geographies; build dual-source and regional capacity strategies that address raw material scarcity, geopolitical risk, and an evolving global trade and tariff environment.Drive automation across the supply chain to deliver best-in-class supply chain efficiency. Partner with suppliers to identify opportunities for process automation and robotics.Shape the tools and processes the ADVEV supply chain runs on, including should-cost methodology, supplier and agreement management systems, and AI-enabled analytics that scale how Ford evaluates suppliers, parts, and agreements.Posting Date: 2026-09-15
