Implements care according to professional standards and state regulations. Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information. Reports findings to physician promptly. Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely and efficiently. Demonstrates technical skill in all nursing functions. Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. Identifies patient learning needs and provides education accordingly. Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of delegation. Effectively utilizes information provided in annual training. Adheres to the nurse practice act consistently.
