Senior Onsite Event Manager Independent Lead

Onsite Professional Opportunity This is a Manager-level assignment requiring independent execution of the client’s meeting. The client seeks an experienced professional capable of managing events autonomously. Client has provided the following Event Details Date and Time: 6/17, Wednesday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM Venue: The Millennium Hotel Durham 2800 Campus Walk Avenue Durham, NC 27705 Basic Guidelines as Required by the Client Attire Client requests that you wear professional business attire. Pre-Event Expectations Client requests that you confirm receipt of correspondence. Client requests that you participate in a pre-event conference call, date and time to be determined. You will be paid for this time. On-Site Expectations Client requests executing the meeting according to the approved plan and timeline while supporting the internal team to ensure seamless event execution. Client requests inventorying all shipped materials, confirming receipt of packages at the venue, reporting any discrepancies, and becoming familiar with all event assets, meeting spaces, and office spaces. Client requests completing all necessary pre-event preparation, setting up the event space including staging and branding elements, and posting directional signage as needed. Client requests meeting with the hotel Convention Services Manager and A/V team to review logistics and ensure alignment with the Banquet Event Order (BEO), while also collecting and maintaining key hotel and A/V contact information. Client requests managing the registration desk, distributing badges and onsite registration forms, greeting attendees, answering questions professionally, and assisting hotel staff with meeting room requirements. Client requests overseeing event breakdown, dismantling setups, repacking materials, and ensuring all items are properly packed and ready for return shipment. Post-Event Expectations Client may request that you deliver meeting materials to contracted shipping vendor within 24 hours of the meeting’s conclusion.
