Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture critical cardiac and vascular data.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• ACLS and BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• PALS certification.
• ARTR or RCIS certification with RTR license required. (RCIS from CCI preferred).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab or Cath/EP environment.
• Experience with Cath/EP lab equipment and MacLab documentation system.
• State licensure as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in both Cath and EP procedures.
• Experience with diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, Watchman/LAAO, EP studies/ablation, and device implants.
• Previous experience in fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac services.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700–1900.
• Call requirements: one weekend per month plus seven weekdays (Cath only).
• Patient ratio typically 1:1.
• Work involves 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms.

As a cardiovascular technologist on our team you will provide essential support in invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Your role directly contributes to diagnostic accuracy and procedural success. Work includes assisting with patient preparation, equipment operation, and intra-procedural imaging while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
