We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheetmetal parts and structures for a variety of projects in the aerospace and defense industries. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements and materials needed Measure and mark sheetmetal according to specifications using measuring tools and equipment Cut, bend, and shape sheetmetal using various hand and power tools Weld, solder, and rivet sheetmetal parts together to form structures Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of projects Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures Keep up-to-date with industry developments and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a recognized sheetmetal mechanic apprenticeship program or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheetmetal fabrication and assembly Knowledge of sheetmetal materials, tools, and equipment Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career growth and development A dynamic and collaborative work environment Exposure to a variety of challenging projects in the aerospace and defense industries If you are a highly skilled and motivated Sheetmetal Mechanic looking to join a reputable and innovative company, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
