Insurance Verification Representative

The University of Miami/UHealth Central Business Office has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Insurance Verification Representative to work remotely. The responsibilities include completing accounts in a timely manner, verifying eligibility and benefits, adding and editing insurance information, completing checklists, creating referrals, meeting productivity standards, assisting in educating patients, obtaining authorizations, entering and attaching authorization information, approving referrals, communicating with patients and departments, participating in process improvement initiatives, providing customer service, ensuring service recoveries and escalations, and performing other duties as assigned.

Core qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, computer literacy, strong written and oral communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and gracefulness under pressure and stressful situations.
