Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine material and labor requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to assess project needs.
• Source and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor project costs and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain an organized database of cost estimates and project documentation.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

A successful Estimator should have:

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost assessments.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
