Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Operate and manage advanced cardiac support devices and continuous renal replacement therapy equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with unit protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior experience in a cardiovascular or cardiac intensive care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Experience managing Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
