Providence Saint Mary Medical Center- Apple Valley is seeking a CT Tech for a travel position. The position is a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The shift is a night 3x12-hour (17:45 - 06:15). The facility is an acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds. Free parking is available. The account manager for this position is Brittney Wismer.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Years of experience required: 1 year
• Certifications required: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, CA CRT, CT
• Skills required: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Aspirations, Biopsies, Brain perfusion, Cervical, Chest without and/or with contrast, Coronary CTA, Drainage, Emergency Department, GE, Head without and/or with contrast, Heart (e.g., calcium scoring, coronary angiography), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Thoracic, Toshiba, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Vascular CTA, Fuji Synapse

Unit Details:

• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Very busy department. Some outpatients but mostly ED patients. High volume primary stroke receiving center. There is transport support for this department, but technologists are encouraged to assist when needed.
• Special Equipment: 1 64 slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 1 64 slice GE lightspeed.

Travel Compliance:

• SSN required

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
• Requires specific amount of experience: minimum 1 year required
• Valid State License: CA license must be in hand; does not apply to some allied positions
• Mile Radius Rule Applies: under 50 miles consider local
• Local Rules: locals accepted at lower BR
• Bill rate: firm
• Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Must disclose license/BG hits up front at time of submission. No open license hits will be approved.
• Return Staff Policy: can return after 3 months
• LA fire card within the last 30 days is required (Aya/Facility will not reimburse for this. Recruiters can margin for it accordingly).
• References Required: 2 References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead
• ALL travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state. travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
• If required for the assignment, Client agrees to supply Providers with communication devices (i.e. cell phone, pager, etc.) needed to perform the duties as assigned at no cost to Provider or Agency. If Client does not provide a mobile phone required for the assignment, Client agrees to pay Agency monthly, for all work-related cell phone use by each Provider, up to a maximum amount of $50.00 as invoiced by Agency. Providers will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bill directly to Agency.
• Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. Modules are completed pre-start, and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts.
