Provides prompt, courteous food service to Harrah's/Caesars Republic banquet guests.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Serves customers at assigned station quickly, courteously, and efficiently
• Obtains food and beverage from prescribed locations and serves customers according to established procedures.
• Observes guests to fulfill any additional requests and to note when meal is finished.
• Assists other Waitpersons in a cooperative manner to ensure efficient service to guests.
• Completes assigned side work as directed.
• Familiarizes self with all items on daily menus.
• Sets tables/room with linens, china, etc. keeping in consideration the events prospectus and following established procedures.
• After events, cleans away service and accessories.
• Clears dirty dishes from tables as guests finish with course (when applicable)

What You Will Need

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• 2 years Waitperson experience preferred
• Literate and fluent in English
• Above average communication and guest service skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
• Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry large, heavy banquet trays and beverage trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to grasp, hold, reach, bend, use a step stool, have hand-eye coordination
• Ability to constantly walk and stand during shift
• Ability to push-pull up to 60 lbs
• Ability to climb stairs
• Mobility to move quickly and easily throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas
• Ability to hear and use visual inspection
• Ability to frequently tolerate extreme indoor temperatures
• Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
