We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.Summary of the roleAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.Key responsibilities include:Following established work instructions and company procedures to ensure safe, quality production.Setting up tool registers, mills, lathes, drills, Bridgeport, switches, offsets, and intermediate programing CNC computerized equipment for defined runs with limited supervision or assistance.Running and setting up Swiss tool machines and twin spindle lathes.Running and setting up pallet changers and horizontal and vertical mills.Responsible for routine machinery maintenance and running visual tests on broken or worn parts while keeping inventory of machine replacement parts.Understanding the flow of production and how your production affects plant metrics and customers.Being fluent and well versed in blueprint interpretation and title block GD&T and capable of determining key and critical characteristics.Utilizing calipers, gauges, indicators, micrometers, and other hand tools related to the occupation.Following safety procedures and guidelines in the assembly process.Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Cross-training to operate other equipment as needed.Other duties as assigned.If you are interested in being a part of a team and creating an inclusive and diverse workplace, please apply online with your CV.About Nordson Industrial Coating SolutionsManufacturers rely on Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions equipment for the precise application and curing of powder coatings, liquid paint, ambient temperature adhesives and sealants, and food and beverage container production.
