Description: Loader / Unloader (Sit-Down Forklift Operator)

Pay: $17.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM until finished (typically 12:00 AM, but may run later)
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Boise Cascade is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our warehouse team as Loader/Unloaders. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position responsible for ensuring all customer orders are loaded and shipped each night for next-day delivery.
Candidates must have previous sit-down forklift experience and be comfortable performing heavy manual labor throughout the shift. We are looking for long-term employees who are reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime as needed to get the job done.
Responsibilities

Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
Load heavy doors onto racks for shipment
Load completed racks onto outbound trucks
Ensure all products are loaded accurately and securely
Meet nightly shipping deadlines to ensure all doors leave the warehouse each day
Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials
Perform heavy lifting and material handling throughout the shift
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of sit-down forklift experience preferred
Forklift certification is a plus but not required
Previous warehouse, shipping, or loading experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Ability to work overtime daily as needed

Physical Requirements

Heavy lifting required throughout the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Many materials require team lifting due to size and weight
Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 to 10+ hours per shift
Steel-toe boots required
