Job Title: Production Helper Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Helper, where you will play a crucial role in assisting with the production of aluminum powder. This position involves loading raw materials into machines, removing metal, and operating screening/blending equipment. You will be working outdoors, so be prepared to handle extreme heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.

• Load raw materials into machines and remove metal.
• Screen, blend, and pack aluminum powder into 55-gallon drums, Supersacs, or railcars.
• Operate blending towers and assist with furnace, screen, and blending operations.
• Move packed materials and perform general housekeeping duties to maintain plant cleanliness.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols in a manufacturing environment, including working in varied weather conditions.

• General production knowledge.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• General labor experience.
• Comfortable working outdoors.

• Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and climb 3 flights of stairs multiple times during a shift.
• Willingness to work 2-12 hour, 24/7 rotating shifts.
• Ability to operate forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and machines.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Work in an industrial manufacturing setting with potential exposure to year-round outdoor elements. The shift follows a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:45 to 7, rotating days and nights every 28 working days. Small buildings are available for warming up or cooling down as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmerton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.10/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Palmerton,PA.
