Pharmacy Technician - PharmacyFill employee prescriptions and physician orders for pharmacist reviewUtilize the order imaging system appropriately and accurately input patient ordersDeliver medications to nursing units and exchange carts in a timely mannerSubmit filing information accurately and in a timely mannerReceive, price, and stock drug orders and store appropriatelyVerify invoice receipts for accuracyRoutinely check for drug expirations of regular pharmacy stock, floor stock, and cabinetsCheck and record quality assurance information (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, unit check visits, flow hood cleaning, etc.)Answer phone and emails promptly and courteouslyCompletion of pharmacy program preferredCertification preferred but mandatory after 1st year of employmentTwo years of experience as pharmacy tech preferred(for eligible employees):Have optimal opportunity for career growth within our growing organizationMedical / DentalRetirement PlanPTO and paid life insuranceArchbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.
