Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, in a warm and professional manner
- Take and record measurements and readings as part of routine assessments
- Assess patient condition and administer appropriate treatments per care plans
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Lead and collaborate with other caregivers on the unit, coordinating care planning and ensuring infection control practices
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team regarding care plans and changes

Requirements
- Licensure: Current Ohio RN license; BSN or ADN required
- Certifications: CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- Experience: Oncology experience preferred
- Education: BSN or ADN from an accredited program
- Skills: Ability to read, write, and explain moderately complex information to staff; strong attention to detail; effective oral and written communication; ability to read, calculate, and prepare medications and observe reactions
- Eligibility: Ability to work in the listed outpatient care setting and function with minimal supervision under a medical oncologist
