Travel Registered Nurse - Orthopedic - 7A to 7P
Location: Aurora, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7A - 7P
Job Description: The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and spine patients. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of care and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Assist with joint replacements and fracture repairs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS and Chemo Certification are preferred.
