Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within an acute care hospital setting
• Deliver nursing care in alignment with Magnet-recognized standards at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and patient charting
• Participate in weekend shifts as required by the facility
• Adhere to all facility dress code and compliance policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN state license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required — no exceptions
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, and NIHSS
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have been separated from this facility for at least 1 year if previously employed there
• Local candidates are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
