As a Dispatch professional at a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, coordinate communications, and help support prompt response to security-related concerns. This role combines strong customer service with visible awareness, helping to discourage incidents while keeping teams informed. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor radio, telephone, and/or electronic communications to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch the appropriate personnel to reported incidents across the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying details to on-site personnel and leadership as needed. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident records, helping to support timely communication and coordination during routine operations and unexpected events. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, noting unusual activity and communicating observations for follow-up. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
