Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Med Surg/Telemetry for an adaptive acuity unit. This position requires flexibility and the capability to provide care in a variety of settings, including Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting.
• Work within a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
• Participate in charge duties as required for this role.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including insulin, emolol, and sodium drips.
• Assist in the education and support of patients and their families.
• Floating to various inpatient units may be required as per scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Charge nurse experience is required.
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience is strongly required.
• Experience with intravenous drips is essential.
• ICU experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous travelers must have a minimum of 3 months of travel experience.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• A valid Vermont RN License or Compact is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory.
• Travelers must have their own vehicle.
• Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.
