Emergency Medicine Physician
Medix is currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team for a short-term assignment at a premier healthcare facility. In this role, you will work alongside a collaborative clinical team to provide exceptional, high-acuity care to a diverse patient population. We are looking for a clinician who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity emergency medical care and stabilization in a fast-paced ER setting.
- Manage comprehensive patient intake, treatment plans, and bedside care for a diverse range of medical emergencies.
- Supervise mid-level providers or clinical staff as required by the facility to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
- Active, unrestricted California Medical License.
- Current DEA, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Duration: Minimum 6-week commitment (could be 8 weeks)
- Commitment: 2 shifts per week (days vary, including some weekends).
- Shift Length: 8-hour shifts.
- Shift Times: Primarily 3:00 PM 11:00 PM, with some 7:00 AM 3:00 PM options.
- Target Start Date: April 25th.
Compensation
- Competitive professional hourly rate ranging from $200.00 to $216.00 per hour.
