Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic strategies and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
Familiarity with Medicare documentation requirements in a SNF environment
