Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinary Technician at our Fort Lauderdale, FL location. The Veterinary Technician will perform routine animal care, assist with medical procedures, provide anesthesiology support, and educate clients on best practices in pet care. Day-to-day tasks include administering medications, monitoring animal health, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring the clinic maintains high standards of safety and cleanliness. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care Experience in Veterinary Technology and administering treatments Knowledge of Anesthesiology and ability to assist during procedures Effective Client Education skills, with an emphasis on clear and compassionate communication Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment An associate degree in Veterinary Technology or related field preferred Current certification or licensing as a Veterinary Technician is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Pay range $23 – $30.00 per hour based on experience. We offer paid medical insurance. Ongoing mentorship and skill building opportunities to support professional growth. Hours of Operation and Scheduling Our hospital is open Monday - Friday 8 AM - 6 PM and Saturday 9 AM - 1 PM.
