Physical Therapist (PT) - Full-Time

The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitative care in physical therapy to patients based on physician referrals, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and standards. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT for 2003 or later) Active state licensure in good standing Preferably one year of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply CPR certification, obtained upon hire or during orientation, maintained current throughout employment Key Responsibilities Implement and modify treatment plans, establish measurable goals, and evaluate patient progress Oversee and assess care provided by PTA, rehab aides, and students Maintain accurate, timely documentation and utilize therapy software effectively Collaborate with patients, families, and support staff to meet patient needs Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate Ensure patient safety, uphold confidentiality, and adhere to policies including safety and compliance standards Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service Support team functions, including evacuation procedures and interdisciplinary communication Skills and attributes: proficient in Microsoft Office, good body mechanics, independent decision-making, effective communication, and physical ability to perform job tasks.
