Job Description As a Security Guard Patrol in Wilson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide assistance within the scope of post orders and notify emergency services and/or site contacts as required. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
