Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, taking time to explain each phase with empathy and clarity
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver superior diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and oversee imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues that arise
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Continuously update your knowledge on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Robust technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
