Locums Nurse Practicioner

Location Kinston, NC Facility This urgent care center is part of an established healthcare network providing comprehensive immediate care services to the community. The facility offers a collaborative work environment with supportive staff including center managers, medical assistants, and patient service associates. Opportunity NP Board Certified - Urgent Care Job Responsibilities and Qualifications Provide comprehensive urgent care services. Treat both adult and pediatric patients ages 6 months and up. Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures. Work as the sole provider in the center with support staff (Center Manager, MA, PSA). Utilize Epic EMR system for all patient visits – proficiency with Epic required. Complete required Epic training and onboarding prior to first solo shift. Board certification required (MD, PA-NCCPA, or NP Boards). Minimum 12 months of urgent care experience required (new graduates not considered). Must possess excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient and staff interactions. BLS certification required. No call requirements. APPs will have supervising physician available offsite.
