CNC Machinist IILocation: Torrance, CA Position Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryWe're hiring a skilled CNC Machinist II to support the production of precision components in a dynamic, low-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment to produce complex parts across a range of materials while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem-solving, and working on a variety of custom or short-run jobs.What You'll DoSet up and operate CNC multi axis lathes.Produce parts to exact specifications, holding tight tolerancesInterpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructionsPerform first article and in-process inspectionsUse precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipmentMake tool adjustments and assist with tool maintenance as neededMaintain organized work areas and follow 5S and safety practicesSupport team initiatives and assist with additional shop needs when requiredWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent required; machining certification is a plus3–5+ years of experience in CNC Lathe machiningExperience working with tight-tolerance, precision partsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&TWorking knowledge of G-code and M-codeExperience with multi-axis machining (5-axis is a strong advantage)Key SkillsStrong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetMechanical aptitude and solid math skillsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve machining issuesComfortable working independently and managing time effectivelyPositive attitude with a willingness to support the teamWork Environment & Physical RequirementsClean and well-maintained production environmentStanding for extended periods throughout the shiftOccasional lifting up to 40 lbsUse of standard PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe footwearWhy This Role Stands OutDirect hireOpportunity to work on diverse, complex parts instead of repetitive runsExposure to advanced machining processes and equipmentCollaborative team environment with a focus on craftsmanship and quality
