Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 4 x 12-hour shifts per week | 48 hours per week | Every other weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Float within specialty and skillset as required to meet unit staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a valid Compact RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Ability to float within specialty and skillset as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Experience working in a float pool or high-acuity hospital environment
